INFORMATION IMPORTANTE
For the Users in France Changes affecting your use of GUIDE Plus+
The French government has decided that Analogue transmission of TV channels will be stopped before the end of 2011. The signal will be switched off on a regional basis between the end of this year and the end of 2011.
Presently your GUIDE Plus+ recorder uses the analogue signal of Canal+ as host broadcaster for receiving its data. As part of the ongoing transition to Digital broadcasting, the Analogue Canal+ service that provides information to your GUIDE Plus+ unit will stop broadcasting between November 2009 and end of 2010. Today there is no other means of transmitting GUIDE Plus+ data in France.
The below timetable provides the dates of Canal+ to switch off its Analogue transmission in the different regions of France. When this occurs all GUIDE Plus+ recorders in France will stop receiving the Canal+ channel and as a result will also be unable to receive data so this feature will no longer be available.
