The Search area of the GUIDE Plus+® system sorts and displays the listings by category so that it is even easier to find a programme you are interested in watching.
There are four general categories: Movies, Sport, Children and Other, and one customisable category called My Choice. The Movies and Sport categories also have sub-categories to help refine your search even more.
Once in the Search area, use the arrow keys to access the category you want. Then select the sub-category of your choice for more specific listings.
In Sport, for example, you can search through “All” the listings, or search by a major sport such as Football, Tennis, Boxing, etc. Cursor down to the sport you want, such as Football, and press OK. All upcoming football programmes for the next seven days will be displayed in chronological order.
In addition, in some GUIDE Plus+ countries/regions, a special Tip of the Day sub-category may also be available for the Movies, Sport, Children and Other categories.
Once you have selected your category, highlighting a particular programme will display its descriptive details in the Information Box. Additional information is also available whenever the “i” symbol is displayed, and will be displayed in an Expanded Information Box when you press the “i” button on the remote control.
Each programme displayed in the Search listings can also be set for recording or watching by pressing the corresponding coloured buttons on the remote control.
To leave the Search area, press the blue Home button to take you back to the current time in the Grid listings.
