You may never need to manually set a programme for time-based recording because the GUIDE Plus+® system offers you one-button recording of any programme listed: just highlight the programme you want to record and press the red Record button.
If you do want to manually set a programme for recording, you must enter all the information about the programme such as date, start and end time, channel number, etc. into your GUIDE Plus+ unit.
Press the Guide button to enter the GUIDE Plus+ system, then use the arrow keys to select the Schedule area.
Press the green button for Manual recording. The current date will appear. Using the number pad on the remote control, enter the date of the programme you want to record, and press the green (Next) button to confirm and move to the next parameter.
Enter the start time of the programme and press the green (Next) button to confirm.
Enter the end time of the programme and press the green (Next) button to confirm.
Enter the programme number of the TV channel and press the green (Next) button to confirm.
If you don’t know the programme number, press the yellow button to see an overview of all the channels. Use the arrow keys to select the TV channel you want to record from and confirm with OK.
Next, use the arrow keys and the coloured action buttons to set the Quality, Frequency, Timing and Destination for your recording.
Confirm with OK and press Home to exit the Schedule area.
Note: For all your manual recordings, you will notice that the programme details area displays only the date and time. Manual recordings are not linked to the GUIDE Plus+ programme information and therefore will not automatically display a program title. You can manually enter a title using the virtual keyboard.
